He says: On the nose, the aromas are all strongly confectionary. Perhaps too much manufacturing? Sugar added? Flavoring (gasp)? Anyway, it makes for an interesting nose, but it’s completely mismatched to the body which has primary red fruit flavors which disappear into a lime/lemon, tart finish that isn’t very becoming. A strange Rosé to say the least in that the drapes don’t match the carpet.

She says: Far from my favourite Rosé of the season.  The nose was candied and almost medicinal and the palate for me was confusing.  Starting with intense red cherry and strawberry, a touch of sweetness and then a completely dry almost tart finish.  It is not often we don’t finish a bottle of wine when we open it but this one went back in the fridge until a couple of days later.  It either improved in this time or my expectations were so low that it somehow didn’t seem so bad.
