He says: This was my favorite of the three Beaujolais Crus that we drank. I enjoyed the flavours on the nose and palate, which were primarily red fruit, floral, and some unique hints of cinnamon and banana. It’s got a decent structure with big, grippy tannins, yet isn’t so full-bodied that you need red meat to tame it. For $16, I think it’s a bargain and worth a try, especially if you’re looking for an alternative to a budget bottle of Pinot Noir which keeps on disappointing you.

She says: Although this wine did not blow me away, it was a pleasant wine with some interesting characteristics. The youthful nose ranged from the typical red fruits, floral, mineral and the more obscure cinnamon. This wine surprisingly had the most intensity and body out of the three (we expected the biggest to be the St Amour). This was a good value wine and easily the best out of the three.
