He says: I found this wine really scattered. The bouquet was intense, but on the palate, it was a flabby mess of sweeter candied fruit. The finish is where it completely falls apart for me as it becomes tart and dry. Let me attempt to summarize: stonefruit/honey on the nose; a bigger candied fruit body with low acidity on the palate; a tart dry, medium finish. Hard to explain, and even harder to drink.

She says: It is rare for me to dislike a wine so completely. There was not enough acidity to balance out the candied fruit and it had a synthetic and medicinal taste that I could not get past. I always like to find some positives in a wine even if it’s not my style but I gave up on this one. What can I say, it quite literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Tasting note

Looks like: Clear, med gold, pale lemon rim
Smells like: Clean, med intensity, youthful, candied stone fruit, honey, hint of oak, green apple, citrus
Tastes like: Dry, med- acidity, med+ body, med- intensity, candied citrus, tropical fruit, banana, hint of honey & vanilla, med alcohol, med tart dry finish
Summary: Average, Ready to drink
