He says: I’m not a big fan, but if you want to drink some overpriced, sweetish bubbly, than this is for you. The positive is that it has a very soft, lush mouthfeel, and good fruit on the palate. The negative is that it lacks acidity, and doesn’t really have any intensity on the nose. Could really take it or leave it.

She says: This Prosecco states on its label that it is ‘extra dry’ (a sparkling wine term). In reality this means that this wine is far from dry and falls somewhere in the middle on the sweetness scale for sparkling wines.  This was definitely a fruity bottle with ripe apple, pear and apricot flavours. A straightforward bubbly that those with a sweet wine affection would no doubt enjoy.
